Insurance and risk management

As in every industry insurance is a must to be able to work. Our industry is no difference except for the fact that most insurance companies do not understand what we do. Therefore our insurance is very specialized and therefore expensive.
Gecko Rope Access carries 20 Million dollar of public and products liability insurance underwritten by Lloyd's London.

Risk Management is an integral part of our business.
No job can be started unless a proper risk assessment has been done and a Safe Work Method Statement has been written up.
However just doing that does not make the job safe! Every day before the work starts a toolbox talk is held to make sure we haven't missed anything or maybe something has changed.
This process is extremely valuable as it also gives clear targets for the day. Al in all it makes the work safe and clear to everybody involved in the job. It gives our clients piece of mind that the work is done according what is agreed on, and in a safe manner.
